| The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa is a quaint resort right on the beach in Pantai Tengah, on Langkawi Island. The resort has adopted a 'Go Green' philosophy and you will notice recycling efforts practiced to support the natural beauty of the island. Accommodations include private chalets right on the waters edge or amongst a garden of tropical fruits and flowers. couple of days when in Langkawi. Close to local

Full Day Cruise - Cast away to the southern islands
of Langkawi for fun on board the Sailing Vessel. Do a
little jungle trekking, bird watching, swimming, beach
combing, monkey feeding, and 'Boom Netting'.
Day Fishing - Day fishing is a 4 hour trip to
Langkawi's surrounding islands. Fish for Grouper,
Catfish, Red Snapper and Barracuda. You also get to
enjoy the natural environment of Langkawi.
Night Fishing - Night time is the best time to go
fishing as temperatures are cooler. Watch the boatmen
prepare for the nightly catch as the sun sets into the
horizon. Then, with a kerosene lamp hanging in front of
the boat leading the way, head out to some of the best
fishing spots for Red Snapper. This is an awesome
experience.
Jungle Trekking - The jungle is full of miracles,
wonders, secrets, and spiritual peace, and It can only
revealed to anyone who is patient enough to listen and
be one with nature. When jungle trekking in Langkawi,
you might come across the medicinal plant Datura,
encounter a Colugo, Flying Lemur or the magnificent
Brahminy kite. Begin at the highest peak on Langkawi
Island, Gunung Raya, 890m above sea level. Take in
the breathtaking view of the Langkawi Archipelago from
Gunung Raya. Then, explore the rainforest along its
mountain streams and hills. Hike along the river at
Lubok Sembilang Recreational Park. Discover
traditional medicinal plants, masters of camouflage in
the animal world, and extraordinary masterpieces of
nature. An experience for all ages!
Mangrove Tour- Explore the amazing mangrove
forest by boat, with an introduction to limestone. Start
off at the limestone formations and sea stacks that rise
dramatically from the ocean, with ancient coral thrust
into the sky millions of years ago. Then travel through
the twists and turns of the Kilim River into the mangrove
forest. Stop at the mysterious bat caves created many
years ago. Observe the wildlife and bizarre land walking
fish, vividly colored kingfishers, eagles, otters and
dolphins at close range. You can also see Mud
Skippers, monkeys, iguanas, monitor lizards, and
species of birds that make the mangroves their home.
Learn about the cottage industry such as charcoal and
fish farms. Next go on a short hike to a jungle stream
for some swimming and a picnic lunch!
