Booking Terms & Conditions
Initial Inquiry:
Please provide us with as much information as possible. This will enable us to ensure the product we
are providing is at least what you expect. Please be sure to mention any special interests, health
limitations or dietary requirements you may have.
Quotations:
Requests for quotations is usually acknowledged within a 72hr period. However, please resend your
email if you do not receive a reply from us. All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless
otherwise specified. We reserve the right to increase prices due to factors beyond our control i.e. fuel
price hikes, be assured every care shall be taken to avoid such situations.
Price:
We will do our utmost to keep to the prices published. Should increases be forced on us by airlines, fuel
hikes, exchange rates etc, we reserve the right to add a surcharge without notice, up to a maximum of
10% of the tour fare.
Deposits:
Once a booking has been made, we will require a 30% non-refundable deposit within 7 days, to secure
the booking.
Payment:
Final payment is due 60 days prior to the commencement of your trip. Payment can be made via direct
transfer into our bank account.
Cancellation:
Cancellations should be conveyed to us in writing. The following cancellation fees apply -
Up to 60 days prior to departure date: 50 % of full fare
30 to 0 days prior to departure date: 100% of full fare
Amendments:
Any amendments for a later departure date made less than 60 days prior to departure date shall be
deemed as a cancellation and the above cancellation fees shall apply. Minor changes for an earlier
departure date will be accepted and the minimum cost thereof recovered from you.
Insurance:
Ensure you take out comprehensive insurance cover before paying your deposit, to cover you for
cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, personal baggage, emergency evacuation and money.
Passports, Visa & Health Regulations:
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all the required passports and visas are in order. Please
note that a passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the termination of the trip. We strongly
recommend that all clients take the necessary malaria precautions in consultation with their physician.
A Release and Assumption of Risk form must be signed by each participant prior to the
commencement of the trip.
PACKAGE : SABAH’S NATURE WONDERS
Duration: 8 Days 7 Nights
Location: Kinabalu National Park, Sandakan, Kinabatangan, Semporna.
Fitness level: Moderate
Day 1 Arrival - Kota Kinabalu (D)
Upon arrival, we transfer you to the Gaya Centre hotel (or equivalent) for check-in.
PM- A short tour around the city before we take you to a local restaurant for a hearty seafood dinner.
Overnight Kota Kinabalu.
Day 2 Kinabalu National Park (B,L,D)
After early breakfast, we drive for 1.5 hours to Kinabalu Park with numerous photo stops, mountain
sceneries and local market, if the weather is clear we should get a spectacular view of Mount Kinabalu.
The Kinabalu Park host Borneo’s rare orchids including the spectacular Nepenthes Rajah and more. The
Rafflesia flower is often seen in bloom around Ranau. Endemic bird life, the Bornean Treepie, Drongos,
Minivet, Laughing Thrushes and Flycatchers can be photographed around the Park.
Late PM – we return to the hotel for overnight in Kota Kinabalu.
Day 3 Sepilok ~ Labuk Bay (B,L,D)
6.00am – Depart hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Sandakan.
Suggested flight : AK6092 ETD 0700 ETA 0745
7.45am – From Sandakan airport, stop by for light refreshment before we travel 30 minutes to Sepilok
Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Here is where rehabilitated Orang Utans are being fed with
supplement food twice daily on a platform in the jungle. Sepilok is a good place for close-up shots of
these endangered ‘Man of the forest’ – Orang utan, in its natural habitat. Check-in at Sepilok B&B, lunch
and rest.
1.30pm - After lunch, we will drive to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary, where we shall spend the
rest of the afternoon for a chance to photograph the endemic Proboscis monkeys and other wildlife at
close range.
3.30pm – We head to the Rainforest Discovery Centre to photograph birds along the canopy walkway and
its trails. The area is home to some of Borneo’s birds including the Blue-headed Pitta, Rufous-collared
Kingfisher and the endemic Bornean Bristlehead. Dinner & Overnight at Sepilok B&B.
Day 4 Gomantong & Sukau,Kinabatangan (B.L.D)
Early morning walk to the Rainforest Discovery Centre for a scenic shot of the misty rainforest canopy.
Return to the B&B for breakfast and check-out.
10am – We drive 2 hours to Gomantong Cave- home to millions of Swiflets that produce the edible bird’s
nest, a Chinese delicacy. This trip also offers good chances of observing wild Orang utans, Leaf
monkeys, Hornbills & Pittas which are commonly sighted around the area. Check-in and lunch at Bukit
Melapi Lodge. Rest at leisure.
4pm-6.30pm : Our first orientation cruise on the mighty Kinabatangan river, we shall cruise on an open-
topped boat powered by 4-stroke engine. After dinner, a powerpoint presentation by your guide. Overnight
river lodge.
Day 5 Sukau, Kinabatangan (B,L,D)
1 full day shall be spent observing wildlife and photographing from the boat at dawn and dusk. The vast
wetlands of Kinabatangan is home to the endemic Proboscis monkeys, Long-tailed and Pig-tailed
macaques, Silver leaf and Red leaf monkeys, wild Orang Utans, Borneo’s snakes, crocodiles and the
Bornean Pygmy elephants. Sightings of the Clouded Leopard, Flat-headed cat, Bornean Ground Cuckoo
have been recorded though rarely sighted. Return to the lodge, dinner and overnight. Night cruise shall be
conducted after dinner in search of nocturnal wildlife.
Day 6 Semporna (B,L,D)
After an early morning cruise and breakfast, check-out and drive 3 hours to Semporna.
Check-in at the Seafest Hotel, lunch and rest.
PM - The afternoon shall be spent traveling by boat to nearby islands. We photograph
sea gypsies and island sceneries. Overnight Seafest Hotel.
Day 7 Semporna (B,L,D)
1 fullday shall be spent photographing local market, island sceneries and its people.
(Rest in the afternoon when the sun is too hot) Overnight Seafest Hotel.
Day 8 Semporna ~Tawau~Kuala Lumpur ~Home (B)
7.00am – Breakfast.
7.30am – Pack up and check out from the hotel. Travel 1.5 hours by road to Tawau Airport for your
onwards flight. End of service.

BORNEO
Borneo has a unique and most spectacular rainforest
wonders. The evolution of strange creatures; the Flying
Snakes, Gliding Lizards, Mud Skipper (a fish Nosed
Proboscis Monkey, the endearing ‘Man of the Forest’ (the
Orang Utan), characterize this island. Its people are warm
and blessed with a colourful culture!
East Malaysia on the island of Borneo hosts two world
heritage sites, the Kinabalu Park and Mulu National Park.
The state of Sabah, which is in the northern most part of
Borneo has some of the most interesting places to visit.
Kinabalu Park is renowned for its unique range of montane
flora. Spreading over 754 square kilometres, the Park
encompasses a range of habitats from lowland forest to
alpine meadows. Some interesting sightings include the
Nepenthes Rajah (the world’s largest insect digesting
plants), Rafflesia flower (the world’s largest flower) and
more than 1,500 species of orchids. The orchid species
makes up 20 percent of the world's orchid population and it
includes the Rothschild Slipper Orchid, which is amongst
the rarest in the world. The Kinabalu Park also provides an
unrivalled opportunity to see some of Borneo’s montane
birds, like the Mountain Barbet, Bornean Stubtail, Whitehead’
s Trogon, Whitehead’s Broadbill, the Friendly Warbler,
Kinabalu Serpent Eagle, and Mountain Blackbird.
Danum Valley conservation area covering over 438 sq.km.
is renowned as the world’s oldest lowland rainforest. It is
located on the east coast of Sabah, 81 km west of Lahad
Datu town. A tremendous variety of plants and a full range of
Sabah’ s lowland fauna, including the endangered Orang
utan, Clouded Leopard, Bornean Gibbon, Bornean Elephant
and the rare Sumatran Rhino are found here. Over 300 other
species of bird life has also been recorded here.
Sukau, Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary is in the
lower end of Kinabatangan River. Has the largest
concentration of wildlife in Borneo, including the Proboscis
Monkey, Crocodiles, Wild Orang Utan, Bornean Elephants,
Storm’s Stork, Hornbills and Kingfishers. Sightings of
wildlife are comfortably viewed from a boat. A haven for
photographers!
Gomantong Cave with an outstanding cave formation and
a unique ecosystem has the biggest birds nest limestone
cave in Sabah. Bats, Swiflets, insects, and forest animals
inhabit the cave. It is located 20 km. from Sukau village.
Every evening over 2 million bats leave the cave entrance
and swirl around in the sky before setting out to harvest over
a ton of insects during the night. A nature’s phenomenon,
watching the bats perform their nightly ritual is an
experience of a lifetime. Bat hawks feed on these bats and
are always close and ready to snatch them up.
Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre is a good
place to view Orang Utan at close range. Young and
orphaned Orang Utan are taken care of by wildlife rangers
and fed twice daily at a feeding platform within the virgin
lowland rainforest. Orang Utan is an endangered species
and are rehabilitated here. Once graduated, they are
released at Sepilok-Kabili forest reserve and often visit the
feeding platform.
