: SABAH’S GREATEST WILDLIFE
Duration: 10 Days 9 Nights
Location: Kinabalu Park, Danum Valley, Kinabatangan, Sandakan.
Fitness level: Moderate
Day 1 Arrival – Kota Kinabalu (D)
Upon arrival, we transfer you to the Gaya Centre hotel (or equivalent) for check-in.
PM- A short tour around the city before we take you to a local restaurant for a hearty seafood dinner.
Overnight Kota Kinabalu.
Day 2 Kinabalu National Park (B,L,D)
After early breakfast, we drive for 1.5hours to Kinabalu Park with numerous photo stops, mountain
sceneries and local market, if weather is clear we should get spectacular view of Mount Kinabalu. The
Kinabalu Park host Borneo’s rare orchids including the spectacular Nepenthes rajah and more. The
rafflesia flower are often seen in bloom around Ranau. Endemic birdlife, the Bornean treepie, Drongos,
Minivet, Laughing Thrushes and Flycatchers can be photographed around the Park.
Overnight at Kinabalu Heritage Resort ( or equivalent).
Day 3 Kinabalu Park – Kota Kinabalu – Lahad Datu (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we drive to Kota Kinabalu and take the next flight to Lahad Datu. Upon arrival at Lahad
Datu airport, proceed for 2.5 hours drive to Danum. Check-in at Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Overnight
lodge.
Day 4 & 5 Danum Valley (B,L,D)
2 full days we spend in pursuit of the endemic and endangered wild Orang utans, Bornean Gibbons,
Maroon langurs around BRL, we venture out morning and afternoon to photograph some of the oldest
rainforest and wildlife in the area. After dinner, with headlamps, we trek or drive to the darkness of the
forests search of nocturnal mammals and frogs. Overnight lodge.
Day 6 Danum Valley – Sukau Kinabatangan (B,L,D)
After lunch, proceed for approximately 5 hours drive to Sukau village in Kinabatangan. Checkin at the
Bukit Melapi Lodge (or equivalent). Dinner & overnight river lodge.
Day 7 & 8 Sukau Kinabatangan (B,L,D)
Two full days from dawn to dusk will be spent on boat and land, in the vast wetlands of Kinabatangan.
Proboscis monkeys, hornbills, kingfishers, egrets, pig tailed or long tailed macaque and Borneo’s
snakes can be photographed from the boat. Good chance of seeing Borneo’s elephant and wild Orang
utan. After dinner, night river safari in search of crocodile, owl, civet, leopard cat etc. Overnight river lodge.
Day 9 Gomantong Cave - Sepilok, Sandakan (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we explore one of the biggest limestone caves in Sabah, the Gomantong Cave – home to
millions of bats and swiftlets which produces the edible birds’ nest. We proceed to Sandakan. Lunch at
Sepilok before we visit the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre for the afternoon feeding session. The centre
is a good place for close-ups of these endangered apes in their natural habitat. 4.30pm – An enroute
stop at the nearby Rainforest Discovery Centre to photograph some sceneries of the rainforest from its’
30m high canopy bridge, also an eye-level for bird photography. Continue to check-in at Sabah Hotel and
freshen up. Enjoy a night out for a seafood dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Sandakan.
Day 10 Sandakan - Home
8.00am - After breakfast, we transfer you to Sandakan airport for your onward flight.

Booking Terms & Conditions
Initial Inquiry:
Please provide us with as much information as possible. This
will enable us to ensure the product we are providing is at
least what you expect. Please be sure to mention any special
interests, health limitations or dietary requirements you may
have.
Quotations:
Requests for quotations is usually acknowledged within a
72hr period. However, please resend your email if you do not
receive a reply from us. All prices are quoted in Malaysian
Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise specified. We reserve the
right to increase prices due to factors beyond our control i.e.
fuel price hikes, be assured every care shall be taken to avoid
such situations.
Price:
We will do our utmost to keep to the prices published. Should
increases be forced on us by airlines, fuel hikes, exchange
rates etc, we reserve the right to add a surcharge without
notice, up to a maximum of 10% of the tour fare.
Deposits:
Once a booking has been made, we will require a 30%
non-refundable deposit within 7 days, to secure the booking.
Payment:
Final payment is due 60 days prior to the commencement of
your trip. Payment can be made via direct transfer into our
bank account.
Cancellation:
Cancellations should be conveyed to us in writing. The
following cancellation fees apply -
Up to 60 days prior to departure date: 50 % of full fare
30 to 0 days prior to departure date: 100% of full fare
Amendments:
Any amendments for a later departure date made less than 60
days prior to departure date shall be deemed as a cancellation
and the above cancellation fees shall apply. Minor changes for
an earlier departure date will be accepted and the minimum
cost thereof recovered from you.
Insurance:
Ensure you take out comprehensive insurance cover before
paying your deposit, to cover you for cancellation, curtailment,
medical expenses, personal baggage, emergency evacuation
and money.
Passports, Visa & Health Regulations:
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all the
required passports and visas are in order. Please note that a
passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the
termination of the trip. We strongly recommend that all clients
take the necessary malaria precautions in consultation with
their physician.
A Release and Assumption of Risk form must be signed by
each participant prior to the commencement of the trip.
